Running two operating systems?
Guess you are currently running win7. Now if you are trying to install vista just to run only that software, well you don't have to install it in your system. Instead you can run it virtually. Use virtualbox for this. The advantage of installing a virtual OS is you can switch between OS in just a mouse click or alt+tab! You can work on win7 and vista at the same time. Minimize vista to task bar anytime... Go to- a href="http://www.virtualbox.org/" rel="nofollow"http://www.virtualbox.org//a to download it. After installing click new. Select windows vista from the menu shown. Next assign RAM for the guest OS. (Required RAM for the guest OS will be automatically calculated and displayed. Just click ok if that is acceptable for you.) Now the next wizard helps you to create a virtual hdd. Click dynamic expanding and assign a certain hdd space. This also will be automatically calculated and displayed as in previous case. This is where you're going to install vista virtually. Now click finish and click settings. In the IDE tab, select the cd drive which contains the vista cd or click virtual drive to mount a disc image. After this vista will get installed inside your win7. Enjoy! :)
